Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Starring: Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Mike Epps, Matt Taylor
Plot Outline: The nightmare isn't over, General Cain ordered The Hive to be reopened,
and in doing so contaminated all of Raccoon City, a city of the dead,
with Alice stuck right in the middle. Now, along with other surviors,
Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliviera and his Captain, Nicholai, they must
fight to survive, to escape the nightmare that has plaqed Raccoon City.
But now there is a new threat: Matt Addison has fully mutated into a
seemingly unstoppable creature, code named Nemesis, who will stop at
nothing until everything around it is dead, but it also has another
agenda...(imdb.com)
My Opinion: I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil video game series, so naturally I wanted to check out the movies once they came out. I enjoyed the first Resident Evil movie so I decided to check out the sequel. I enjoyed the movie quite abit, mostly for the visual effects of the movie and partly because I love Milla Jovovich. There's really not much I can say about this film without giving too much a way, But like most video game to fil adaptation, the movie is not as good as the game. I'm definitely going to check out Resident Evil: Afterlife once it hits theaters, for the simple fact that Milla is in it.... oh and I like the movies so far.

This
is pretty much me being bored and having nothing to do. So instead of
just lying around doing nothing I decided to review pretty much all the
movies I watch on any given day. So without farther waiting before I
actually forget, I'll do a review right now.
Movie: Tom-Yum-Goong
Starring: Tony Ja(Tony Jaa), Petchtai Wongkamlao, Nathan Jones
Plot: A young fighter named Kham must go to Australia to retrieve his stolen
elephant. With the help of a Thai-born Australian detective, Kham must
take on all comers, including a gang led by an evil woman and her two
deadly bodyguards.(imdb.com)
My Opinion: Storyline wise, this movie was pretty crappy. I bought this movie because I have seen another one of Tony Jaa's movies Ong Bak. Because
of this I knew not to expect a great storyline, what I did expect was
some great action scene and Tom Yum Goong delivered that. Anyone
familiar with Tony Jaa knows that he performs all of his stunts which
definitely adds realism to this film. For those of you who are
wrestling fans, the name Nathan Jones might ring a bell. Nathan Jones
spent some time in the WWE before being let go or qutting, I forget
which. Jones makes an appearence in the last big fight scene of the
movie. Overall when it comes to action/martial arts movies, Tom Yum
Goong is one of the better ones I've seen. I would recommend renting
Tom Yum Goong, but if you're really into martial arts films you should
probably buy this one, I think Tony Jaa could be a really big name like
Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li.
